Heathcote, Victoria
This was a wine that was " found " by a Customer and who then asked us to range the two in the series and of course we were pleased to do so and even more so when we had been given samples by Dr Eric Dowker the Owner of this quite amazing vineyard
Now is the time for you to try these wines before anybody else finds out about these very serious wines!!
We have a 2003 and a 2005 Shiraz and a 2003 Shiraz Malbec on hand and have had the privilege to taste the 2004 and the 2006 both of which are yet to be released. The wines are made at Hanging Rock by John Ellis from a vineyard situated at Wild Duck Creek and we would not be surprised if these wines don't soon achieve iconic status - they are luscious BIG flavoured wines suitable to those who like their reds HUGE yet they are not hot and easily carry the 16% alcohol. Only 300 cases are made each year so don't delay..............
