Simon Lang Wines

 Barossa Valley, South Australia

Joanne Irvine produces some lovely wines from Simon Lang Wines - in particular a 2008 Shiraz and a 2009 Sauvignon Blanc - the latter being from the Limestone Coast, as Australia Sauvignon Blanc continues its revival against our Kiwi neighbours.

St. Brioc Wines

 McLaren Vale, South Australia

We have two wines from this tiny producer - The Cure and The Fraternity, both of which are terrific examples of big, well balanced McLaren Vale Shiraz with berry and chocolate flavours - characteristics that we have all come to love in this region. The venture was actually set up by Jo Madigan and our dear friend, Trish Wenk of Smidge Wines.

Sorby Adams

Eden Valley, South Australia

Credit where it's due! Sorby Adams was a discovery by TSM (The Sunday Man) who was keen from the start. The rest of us raised our eyebrows - another SA Shiraz and another Riesling!?!? - this stuff better be good TSM!

Beach Road Wines

McLaren Vale, South Australia

Beach Road Wines is the joint venture between the Husband & Wife team Tony and Briony Hoare; Briony (pictured below with Mitch!) has been involved in the industry since the early 1990’s, working around Australia with brands such as Lindeman’s, Rouge Homme, Wynn’s, Penfold’s, Seppelts, Tulloch’s, Seaview and Rosemount. Time in Mildura helped develop a passion for Italian varietals, and this followed a vintage in Piedmont, Northern Italy, where she worked with Barbera, Nebbiolo, Gavi, and Moscato.

Neil Hahn Wines

Barossa Valley, South Australia

The Hahn Family is in many ways synonymous with the Barossa Valley as they have farmed the area for over 5 generations from when the 'first' Hahn arrived in 1846 and over the years they have grown to now own nearly 50ha of vines and a thorough understanding of how to make wine! All of their wines are very luscious and a thumb print of the range is the forward style copied by many but here it is a style that they have always made and it is enjoyed by many people around the World especially throughout Asia - these are all very fine affordable wines:

Dolan Family Wines

Barossa Valley, South Australia

Dolan Family Wines was a recent discovery referred to us by another vineyard and it is interesting to see how vignerons can quite often be appreciative of each other notwithstanding that there is competition bewteen them for the same fine wine market !

Oscar's Estate

Barossa Valley, South Australia

This wine is one of the 'finds' of late 2010 with a wine that is total Barossa Valley power! It is a cracking Shiraz from Darren Zimmerman's vineyard on the Roennfeldt Road in Marananga from vines planted by Darren's father in 1936. This is pure unadulterated Barossa power and at the price the wine has quite rightly caused immense interest to all - this is Barossa taste at its very best!

ArtWine

Clare Valley, South Australia

ArtWine, which is a new winery (and amazing B&B) in the Clare Valley who we have only recently met; we have been amazed at the wines that are presently being made by O'Leary Walker and here we have some of the best from this renowned region and a truly unique  product in the Tres Amigos.

Greenock Creek

Barossa Valley, South Australia

"Greenock Creek Vineyard & Cellars, owned by Michael and Annabelle Waugh, remains one of South Australia's iconic wineries. Start with a great terroir, add in old vine material and meticulous winemaking, and end with extradordinary results" Robert Parker Jnr

The Shiraz series, Alices, Creeckblock, Seven Acre, and Roennfeldt Road are perhaps the standout wines from this iconic vineyards.

Possums Vineyard

McLaren Vale, South Australia

Possums vineyard originated from a clever play on words. When you put Owners Dr John Possingham with partner Carol Summers, you get a lovely and fantastically valued wine from the heart of McLaren Vale.
